Emerging in the period following the French Revolution, Palais Royal workshops became known for producing finely crafted decorative objects that reflected both refinement and artistry.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"594\" data-start=\"206\"\u003eThe set contains five Paris porcelain compotes from the early 1800's, and three compotes by Limoges from the 1920's Paris for a total of 8. They are in excellent condition with a few minor chips of wear. One compote is missing its handle, but I place it in the back of the tray.
