This beautiful Napoleon III compote, c. 1850 - 1870, is in excellent condition with the original eye bolt. Parisian white porcelain.
During the time, several European countries were making basketweave compotes, with the Parisian porcelain highly sought after. Many of these basketweave compotes can be found with hand painted designs or gold filigree.
It is refreshing to find one in pure white porcelain in perfect condition, such as this. I have a second of these in a round shape, same height that will be available and is arriving in the October '25 container,
