This beautiful Napoleon III pedestal compote, c. 1850 - 1870, is in excellent condition with the original eye bolt.  It has just arrived from France, and will be available to ship January 26, 2026, and I will be posting more photos shortly.

During the time, several European countries were making basketweave compotes, with the Parisian porcelain highly sought after. Many of these basketweave compotes can be found with hand painted designs or gold filigree. 

It is refreshing to find one in pure white porcelain in perfect condition, such as this. I have a second of these in a round shape, white and 18K gold filigree for $230.00 in the gifts section of Trouver.

Shipping Furniture
